Meals from the Heart

Plan and cook your meal from scratch.

Whether you’re looking for a team-building activity for colleagues or a fun way to give back with friends and family, Meals from the Heart is a great way to be part of our mission and serve families. As a Meals from the Heart volunteer, you provide so much more than food. You provide families with a sense of comfort and community.

This opportunity is all about bringing the flavors of your home into our House, putting you in control of creating a comforting meal for families. Your group of up to 8 people creates the menu, buys ingredients, and cooks in our fully-equipped commercial kitchen.

For the health and well-being of our families, ALL food must be prepared in our commercial kitchen or in an outside commercial kitchen. Any store-bought items should be in unopened containers, and all produce should be brought in whole.

Schedule Your Activity

To ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests and staff, guests 18 years of age or older are required to sign in via our Lobby Guard system by scanning their ID or entering their name and date of birth. The Lobby Guard system will run a public sex offender check on all visitors. Individuals who appear on the national sex offender registry will be denied entrance to our House.

Allergen Information

As you purchase your ingredients, we ask that you pay special attention to the food labels of the items you buy to make sure you know about common allergens that may be present. Common allergens include dairy, eggs, fish, gluten, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat. Note we are not asking you to remove these from your menu planning. We just ask that you know what is in the ingredients you purchase so that we can properly label them. Thank you!
