Stay With Us

Ronald_McDonald_2016-35
Our Ronald McDonald House is built on the idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on their child’s recovery – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest. Our House is just two blocks from Louisville’s downtown hospitals, including Norton Children’s Hospital.

Featured Family

To say that this house has a special place in our hearts is quite an understatement. The circumstances that brought us to Louisville were just so unexpected, so unplanned. The thoughts and feelings that we went through honestly can hardly even be put into words. Scared, confused, anxious– -we were basically at the most vulnerable place you can imagine.

Ways You Can Help

Whether it is a donation of time, talent, or treasure, your gift to RMHCK will directly impact the lives of families traveling to Louisville for medical treatment for their child. Thank you for helping keep families close.

Events

RMHCK hosts several events throughout the year to ensure that we are able to always help families in need, regardless of their ability to pay. We invite you to join us for our Red Tie Gala, Golf Scramble, or Clay Shoot. We pride ourselves on the quality of our events and they are some of the most fun in town!

The latest news about COVID-19 at RMHCK

At RMHCK, the health and well-being of our guests, families, volunteers, and staff are our highest priority.

To ensure everyone’s health and safety, we’ve restricted the House to essential staff members and current guest families, temporarily suspending new family check-ins.  All volunteers, including our Adopt-A-Meal groups, unfortunately, also have been suspended.

With guidance from Ronald McDonald House Charities Global office, and following Gov. Beshear’s guidelines, we are working on plans to begin slowly easing these restrictions, in the safest way possible. It is too soon to know the timeline for implementing these changes, but we know that we will take a phased approach.

We are closely monitoring the dynamic situation of COVID-19, and we will continue to act thoughtfully to ensure all precautionary steps are taken.  In the meantime, know that we appreciate the support and love that you’re showing our families.
