As we continue to evolve and respond to the changes in the world during the COVID-19 pandemic, one thing remains constant: we are here for our RMHCK families and community!
In the last few weeks, we have made proactive changes to our operations to ensure the health and safety of our volunteers, employees, and, of course, the critically ill children and their families that count on us. These changes include restricting our House to essential staff members and guest families. All volunteers, including our Adopt-A-Meal groups, have been suspended until further notice.
During this time, we are relying on each other for support. As a part of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana community, we hope we can rely on you to support us however you can in this time of need.
Support RMHCK Families
Make a Donation: At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana, we continue to support our families of seriously ill children during this unsettling time. Our families rely on us to provide warm meals, daily essentials, and a safe environment. And when there’s a crisis, your help is critical as we continue to care for families. With challenging times come opportunities for heroes to emerge and assist those in great need. You can make your donation here. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation other than with a credit card, please contact Susan at firstname.lastname@example.org or 502-371-1444. Don’t forget to check with your workplace to see if they match employee donations.
Stay Connected: We are actively sharing stories of hope, our needs, and posts that connect our RMHCK community together. You can follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You can also sign up for our e-newsletter here.
Connect us to Restaurants: In addition to monetary donations, we are looking for connections with those in the restaurant and catering industries to help provide meals for our families. Please contact Grace if you have any contacts/relationships with restaurants or caterers who might be able to donate prepared meals or meal supplies or give them to us at discounted prices. This is a win-win for everybody. Help us feed our families, and we support them in a time that is uncertain for their business.
We are extremely grateful for your help as we all navigate this difficult time!
On behalf of all of us at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana, stay safe and well.
