McDonald’s Change Makers
Little by little, we can do a lot.
You can support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana the next time you visit your local McDonald’s Restaurant! You can give a dime here, a quarter there. It might not seem like much, but when thousands of people give their change at our local McDonald’s it adds up! Over $50,000 is donated to RMHCK on an annual basis.
Your support of your local McDonald’s also means support of your local Ronald McDonald House, and we are very thankful for all your support!
Round-up for RMHC
Round-Up for RMHC is an easy way to give back when visiting McDonald’s. Use the kiosk or ask to Round-Up for RMHC when paying for your order.
When you Round-Up for RMHC at your local McDonald’s, you’ll leave with more than a meal. No change required! You’ll leave knowing you helped provide overnight stays to RMHCK families caring for their children receiving medical treatment at Louisville-area hospitals.
Donation Boxes
Have spare change? You can still donate through McDonald’s the traditional way by using the Donation Boxes at the cash registers and drive-thru. Every time you drop your change, you’re helping RMHCK provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children.
Happy Meals
With every Happy Meal sold at our local McDonald’s restaurants, one cent is donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana to help families and their sick children stay together while they receive medical care. It may not seem like much, but your dinner choice can make a huge difference for our families. Each one of those pennies adds up!
Shamrock Shake
The Shamrock Shake is a seasonal green mint-flavored milkshake dessert sold at most of our local McDonald’s restaurants during March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! A portion of the sales supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana and our mission to keep families together when they are caring for a sick child. In 2023, the Shamrock Shake promotion raised over $14,000!!
