This week, I was speaking with one of our founding board members, Pat Stiglitz, who called me to send her regrets that she will be traveling and unable to attend McDazzle, our premier gala event that will celebrate our 30th Anniversary.
Pat shared some memories of the early days, about how Jef Conner and so many others worked tirelessly to open the doors of Louisville’s Ronald McDonald House.
At McDazzle, we will honor our founding board members, who had the passion, vision and drive to do the hard work necessary to form our organization. This process took more than two years of fundraising, finding a facility, renovating it, making it into Louisville’s “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children, then serving our first families in September 1984.

Thanks to our founding board members, as well as the board members, donors and volunteers that have followed them, we have served nearly 80,000 family members of seriously ill children, and we look forward to serving many more in the future.
McDazzle is one month away! If you are interested in attending, please click here.
