Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana (RMHCK) is a 501(c)(3) charity located in the heart of downtown Louisville, a short walk away from Norton Children’s Hospital and other regional hospitals. But to so many, RMHCK is much more than that. We are a place families of seriously ill children call home during crisis and uncertainty. To others, we are a relaxing room amid stressful rehabilitation. For many, we are a trusted place to volunteer and feel truly rewarded. And yet to others, our financial assistance helps them achieve their dreams. RMHCK has such a positive impact on children, their families and our community.
Many of the people who arrive at our door are exhausted, worried and focused on their child who is receiving critical medical treatment at one of our community’s world-class hospitals. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana offers them comfort, warm meals and relief from the financial hardship of living in a hotel.
Since opening our doors, RMHCK has helped more than 70,000 family members from all 50 states and several international locations. We’ve given more than $1,000,000 in grants to organizations that support children.
